Changing Our Operations to Help Our Community


As residents of Rocklin, parents of children that attend a local grade school, and owners of R+H Aesthetic Medicine in Roseville, we feel bonded to the community and have had frequent discussions on what we can do to serve our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We understand, despite this crisis, people in our community will still have other illnesses or minor injuries that are unrelated to COVID-19 and do not need to be diagnosed or treated in a busy emergency room.  We are in a unique position to help relieve the overcrowding of our local emergency rooms.  This is why we converted our medical spa into R+H PrivateCare.

With Dr. Young's ten years of emergency room and urgent care experience and Heidi's extensive orthopedic and emergency room experience, we have the medical expertise to treat common non-respiratory conditions.  Our focus on privacy and personalized care, as well as our unique physical space, enables us to provide private and safe care for patients in our community. 

Our private facility is an ideal setting for patients in our community who are:

Patients with non-respiratory illness or minor injuries

At risk patients, such as those over 65, or those with serious underlying medical conditions

Patients seeking to avoid long wait times or crowded waiting rooms

Patients unable to see their primary care physician

  • All ages, particularly those at high risk for COVID-19 complications, such as the elderly or those who have serious underlying medical conditions like, heart disease, diabetes and lung disease
  • Abdominal pain
  • Acute musculoskeletal pain
  • Fevers
  • Minor trauma including lacerations, sprains, simple fractures
  • Skin infections, abscess incision and drainage
  • Urinary Tract Infections
  • Ordering and reviewing laboratory studies
  • Ordering and reviewing  imaging studies
  • Refills of chronic medications (excluding narcotics)
  • Telemedicine consultations and medical advice

  • To protect our staff and to help decrease the spread of COVID-19, we will not see patients with:

  1. Respiratory infections
  2. Will not test for COVID-19, Influenza, or Strep throat

  • We will also not treat patients with:

  1. Chronic Pain
  2. Worker's Compensation or Disability Injuries

How to Use Our Services

1) Book an appointment

Go to Book Now.  Send an email, call, or text Dr. Young directly with your request.  Dr. Young will get basic information about you and your symptoms via phone, text, or email.  This tele-triage will ensure you are an appropriate patient for our services.  Patients with a fever, respiratory symptoms, the flu, or the Coronavirus will not be treated.

2) Complete online paperwork

You will receive an email from our main practice, "R+H Aesthetic Medicine."  Alpine Aesthetic Medicine dba R+H Aesthetic Medicine is our parent company.  (You may see this on various paperwork) There will be instructions on how to access your patient portal.  Through your patient portal, you will complete paperwork providing demographic information, HIPAA compliance, and office policies prior to your arrival.


3) Arrival

Call or text Dr. Young when you arrive in the parking lot.  He or Heidi will greet you and take you directly through a private entrance into a spacious exam room.  Here you will find a comfortable couch for your loved one to sit on.  Enjoy the privacy, cleanliness and serenity of an exam room never experienced before.


4) Discuss your problem and get treated!

We will evaluate and treat any problem within the scope of our practice.  You will receive our full attention and our thoughtful, evidence based treatments.  There's no rush and no other patients; it's just you.  Receive a treatment plan, laboratory or imaging orders, and prescriptions to help treat or manage your condition.


5) Check out

In order to keep costs low and provide our services at a reasonable rate, we will not accept insurance.  There will be a reasonable fee for your service depending on its complexity.  We will accept cash, and credit cards including HSA debit cards.  

Although we don't accept insurance, we have partnered with Reimbursify to easily file your out-of-network claim with your insurance company and and get reimbursed.

You are all done!  Simple. No stress.  No crowded waiting room.  No exposure to other sick patients.
